“An irresponsible leader can break the hearts and faith of his followers and raise suspicion even toward those who are genuine. What pain his hypocrisy caused to those who trusted him and just see what it has done to his own life. How essential it is to live what we believe. How vital it is to practice what we preach.”
– Radhanath Swami in The Journey Home book.
Great message from Radhanath Swami Maharaj. It’s very dangerous to belittle something genuine if one is not careful. He can devastate the whole community and sacrifices made by genuine followers.
So true…..! Once we are recognized as devotees by people, we are preaching all the time by our actions……!
Absolutely true. “Practice what we preach” is so important in life. Its easier said than done, but without it you cannot get trust from others. Radhanath Maharaj is such a perfect embodiment of this statement.
I agree with you but we seldom see followers of these principles in this world today
Thank you for enlightening us on this vital subject.
“Live what we believe and practice what we preach…”. Radhanath Maharaj gave us this wonderful tip to avoid hypocricy in our lives.
Very true! Leaders have a great responsibility on them to show exemplary behaviour. Radhanath Swami practices what he preaches!
I think you are saying right. I heard that from his speeches and quotes he inspires many corporate leaders across the glob. Only a true practitioner can do this !!
thank you maharaj. Maharaj is walking his take. Hare Krishna
live what we believe…….Radhanath Swami is an example personified of what he says…he is one of the best spiritual guides available these days
amazing similarity
Absolutely true!
In this age of kaliyuga no leaders are faithful towards their preaching. They may be either politicians or spiritual leaders.Every where only cheating the people.only is taking place.By the grace of Srila Prabhupad we are able to have excellent spiritual leaders like Radhanath swami, who not only preach but also practice.
Here Radhanath Swami is so strongly stressing the importance of following what we preach else we are doing great disservice to all. Thank you for teaching this valuable lesson.
If we do not practice what we preach , we are cheating ourselves & our preaching will become ineffective.
Great sould like Radhanath Swami only can make this quote.
yes maharaj it is very true
Yes certainly true what you are saying .I agree with you .I guess modern politicians must learn something from it.
