  1. thats why prabhupad said to give just one life to krishna,, & HH Radhanath swami explains how insignificant one life is….in the journey of soul…..

    1. Very good observation! Our whole may be looking very long to us, however from eternity point of view it’s not even a minuscule dot on the line of life.

  2. What an amazing and deep statement by Radhanath Swami Maharaj on the reality of this material world. People boast themselves for many things that they don’t realize that those are going to be over very soon. However, intelligent or soul seeking people understand this reality and act upon it shrewdly paving the path for next phase of their eternal journey toward perfection.

    1. Yes I do agree. Thanks Radhanath Swami for pointing out the temporary nature of the world and the eternal nature of the soul.

      1. Great point. People run after things in this material world thinking they are real purpose of life, however reality is quite different.

    2. A very true contrast Sumit ji and of course accordingly they are awarded their destinations too.

  3. By pondering on this wisdom just for sometime broadens my world view so much. All the worries and obstacles seem to be puny and it feels so light at heart. It feels like let anything come upon me and that doesn’t matter at all because anyways that is so momentary and insignificant in comparison to my eternal existence.

Such practical end enlivening wisdom from HH Radhanath Swami.

    1. Very valid point Piyush. Your optimistic approach of taking the blockers in life to be ephemeral amazes me a lot. If we live our life for the ultimate goal (realizing our true self), then even though the life duration is very short, its impact on further journey is huge.

      1. Thank you for your encouragement but actually this is the power of association with realized souls like HH Radhanath Swami. Such high caliber wisdom put in such simple words can give some food for thought to even a dumb person like myself :).

I feel so optimistic about this aspect.

  4. Wonderful quote by HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj! Anything material that we achieve in our lives is so insignificant as it does not last typically beyond a point. Yet, the life could be significant if used to achieve things that are our permanent assets – spiritual credits. This quote urges us to look at the big picture and not get bogged down with achieving something that is perishable in this lifetime.

    1. Awesome . Very important quote. We are living in a world where people take even illusory ‘facebook likes ‘ sooooooo seriously.

  5. Very profound quote by Radhanath Swami which opens several understandings:
    1. We are the souls and not bodies
    2. Soul is imperishable
    3. The soul has to pass through many life times if not found its true purpose of serving God
    4. We should be able to see a broader perspective of several life times for the present sufferings or enjoyments
    5. This one life time is very insignificant
    6. Life is very short.

We can add more from this very beautiful quote.

    1. And one of the important corollaries of this quote, according to me, is don’t take the temporary ups and downs of life too seriously. After all, they all fall within a point.

      1. You are absolutely right Gopinath Chandra Prabhu. But need more clarification. Theoretically, it is very easy to understand, but to apply practically it is very difficult. Sometimes it is easy to manage happy moments in life, but to assimilate and digest the setbacks require great maturity and real application of what you said. It is not easy to keep calm without raising “Why” question.

    2. Well summarized points Mr. Raja! Soul’s real interest is in getting in contact with spiritual things, however when it comes into contact with matter, trouble starts. Therefore, the purpose of human life is to take the soul from this material world to the spiritual world when there are innumerable souls (ie. living beings) just waiting for us to go back.
