  1. True! Most of the time we are concentrating on our material growth and neglect our spiritual growth. If we do not invest our time wisely in developing ourselves spiritually, then our lives will remain shallow with no substance to it.

  2. What a profound quote from Radhanath Swami Maharaj! Investment in spiritual life starts with association of devotees who are aspiring to serve the Lord eternally. If we keep associating with them, very soon we will also aspire for eternal service.

      The word investment is so fit for this case. Actually we have choice at each moment that where we want to invest that moment … in association of devotees that uplifts us or in any other material mundane activities that further entangles us in the vicious cycle of material existence.

  4. Very profound advice this is. As we invest into stocks or Mutual funds or FD to get good returns. Similarly if we want spiritual growth we have to invest our time, money, energy and all resources in spiritual causes like building a temple, book distribution, preaching etc. Only then do we see that our quality of life is positively impacted. Thank you HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj.

    1. Such practical analogy Anand. Unfortunately many a times we focus a lot on building material wealth but not much emphasis in given to spiritual enrichment.

    1. Very true. Spirituality defines our goal of life because we are spirit souls in material bodies. Unless we understand this fact, we will continue to define life’s goal on the material platform.
