A forgiving Heart never keeps any grudges or any malicious feelings for anyone ! Thank You HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj for showing us this beautiful path of Forget & Forgive ! Its very essential to be Forgiving to re-ignite real love !
Great point Onkarji! There are so many wonderful stories in Maharabharat where Pandavas have shown real tolerance:
– When Bhima was poisoned and thrown into the Ganges, but later when he came back, Yudhishthir maharaj asked his 4 brothers to not let the secret come out and thereby not offend Duryodhana and his cunning brothers.
– When Pandavas were sent to Varanavrat for being part of Lord Shiva’s worship festival. When Pandavas were tried to be burned in the house made of Lakh.
– When Pandavas were cheated in the gambling match by Kurus and sent for an exile of 12 years followed by 1 year incognito.
– When Pandavas were not given their share of the kingdom even after fulfilling the terms of exile.
We can clearly see how in the all of the above situations, Pandavas tolerated the injustice and remained peaceful.
True! Tolerance and forgiveness goes hand-in-hand. We cannot forgive unless we are tolerant of the other person.
This was fully exhibited by Haridas Thakkur and Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you very much.
Very true Jayantji! These are wonderful examples of what tolerance means. There is one more example in Shreemad Bhagavatam about Ambarish maharaj how he did not retaliate against atrocities brought by Durvasa muni.
What an amazing quote from HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj.
Essence of core principle of Krishna Consciousness in a nut shell…..! Helps….. Thank You Maharaj.

Very well said.
To be tolerant like tree and humble like a blade of grass are natural qualities in persons who have unflinching faith in God and sees God everywhere. These qualities will automatically manifest in a person who is forgiving instantly. This quote of Radhanath Swami is so powerful that it opens doors for many wonderful understandings.
Absolutely.. a very useful comment. Thank you.
Tolerance simplified by Radhanath swami , forgive and go ahead we do not have to do anything else.
This is the real test of whether a person is truly tolerant or not. Unless one is forgiving there is no meaning to tolerance. We may be going through the ordeal grudgingly and that will create offences in the form of vengeance at an opportune time. So best tolerance also has to be coupled with forgiveness. It is indeed a deep profound statement by Radhanath Swami.
Amazing words Mr. Raja! Real tolerance is what you just described. Only a pure devotee can have real tolerance. However, if we serve such devotees, we can also get tinge of that tolerance.
Radhanath Swamia has made a very deep statement. He walks his talk.
Radhanath swami has a deep insight within every topic he talks on . And his profound wisdom just make me drop down my jaw and just say wow…..
HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj often quotes from the scriptures that we should learn to be more tolerant than a tree. It shows how much important this quality is for our spiritual progress.
True.. he does emphasizes this a lot and no doubt tolerance is a very important quality to be cultivated for spiritual advancement.
Such a great statement, induces one to think very deep and contemplate. Thanks for sharinmg this.
yea… really deep and instructive wisdom.
Such practical wisdom.. forgiving and tolerance need to go hand in hand to be really effective. Thank you for publishing this.
Very true Piyushji! Only pure saints like Radhanath Swami Maharaj can show by their own examples what tolerance means. May one day, I also get some tolerance in my character.
