“If I do not like something, it must be bad”. This is human psychology. The ego makes oneself the centre of one’s own universe and if some thing doesn’t fit one’s egoistic conceptions, it is wrong.

Absolutely true Ms. Shruti… Radhanath Swami has deep philosophical knowledge on every aspects of life. These are some of the areas of our life.
This is really true Radhanath swami.
Really many people say this that on the face that they don’t like. That is very egoistic By saying they hurt others. All glories to maharaj
Such a wonderful insight by Radhanath Swami on how we decide good and bad in this world and fight so much over it. Unless we come to the platform of Spirituality, our whole life will be spent in this duality…
Wonderful quote by Radhanath Swami.
Most of the conflicts that we see today in the society be it religious, social or economic is only because of this false ego born out of false identification with the body. The true ego is to accept that one is the servant of God. And Radhanath Swami is one such person with the true ego.
Yes this statement of Radhanath Swami is absolutely true. I have observed this during my work. Just read an excerpt from Radhanath Swami’s book “The Journey Home” http://www.radhanath-swami.info/Radhanath_Swami_Meets_Mother_Teresa.php

Truly the ego drives us to do so many crazy things, just to challenge nature & sometimes even death itself. Radhanath Swami has rightly made Krishna and Srila Prabhupada as the centre of his universe and many are rallying around him

I agree with Maharaj in this point. The mind is born out of the mode of goodness. That means it needs to be taught and trained to be one’s friend and not the friend of the false ego.
Maharaj’s comments are like a ornamental commentary of the scriptural quotes(like Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, etc), which deepens our realization and understanding of the scriptures.
I remember hearing Radhanath swami for the first time in my life, where he spoke about terrorism. He said that they are filled with so much hatred that they can fill up others who associate with them… can’t forget it..
Terrific work! Hari Bol..
