Gratitude is like the root of the tree on which the Tree of Love will grow to be strong and sturdy.
Very profound quote from Radhanath Swami Maharaj. Showing gratitude is just like tiling the ground, so that tree of love can have strong foundation to grow.
very true SumitJi. Thank you.
Symptom of a great devotee is their gratitude; they never forget. Never forget anyone who ever helped them
Yes very true! And that happens with exchange of love.
Such deep and practical wisdom from HH Radhanath Swami. Without gratitude any love shown may be just some shallow expression but that may be very deep rooted.
very true. also gratitude doesn’t only mean saying just thank you. But reciprocating to the person that has done some thing for you. And reciprocating with the Lord for all He’s given to us is the greatest gratitude one can show by chanting His name and reading/hearing about Him.
So well said. Reciprocation only testifies the gratitude.
In a lecture on BG-2.40, Radhanath Swami Maharaj brings a very amazing point. He said “Why is it so that if one completes 30% of devotional service in one’s life, he starts from 31%. It is all because of gratitude of Lord Krishna”.
