  9. Such a precious statement made by Radhanath Swami Maharaj. No matter how rich we are we can never buy a moment with all the riches we can ever imagine to have. We all have our quota of time. If we use it cleverly and wisely for the ultimate purpose of life that is real smartness. Saints like him show us practically how to do it. The question is, are we willing to imbibe that principal or not?

Intelligence is supposed to direct the mind, but the mind is so strong and obstinate that it often overcomes even one’s own intelligence, as an acute infection may suprass the efficacy of medicine. Such a strong mind is supposed to be controlled by the practice of yoga. The easiest way to control the mind is to chant the Lord’s holy names.

  15. Yes, we should realize the importance of time, of every second that we have and “invest” it wisely. If we do not take our spiritual lives seriously, a moment lost is a moment wasted never to be got back again. So we should follow the instructions given by “investing” our time in the right things.

  16. A useful guidance from HH Radhanath Swami. The choices we make gives us idea that how wise are our selections of the options. The word used “Invest” is very important here, which means that if the moments are used properly those are investments otherwise the lost moments will be called wasted and not invested.
