The Bhagavad-Gita with its knowledge is there for everybody. Unless we have humility, devotion, and an eagerness to serve, we cannot digest the knowledge.

Very true! The teachings of the Bhagavad Gita is available to everyone in this world and is very relevant even today in our lives. It is up to us to access this treasure house with sincerity, humility, faith and devotion.
Although the living entity is always being kicked by the stringent laws of material nature, he still thinks, “I am God” because of ignorance. The beginning of knowledge, therefore, is amanitva, humility. One should be humble and know that he is subordinate to the Supreme Lord. Due to rebellion against the Supreme Lord, one becomes subordinate to material nature.
Thank you Swamiji
The Bhagavad Gita is a ‘cintamani gem’ whose brilliant lusture can penetrate and lighten up people’s hearts who are willing to hear it submissively from a saintly person.
Thank you Maharaja.
Thank you for sharing.
Bhagavad Gita is understood by one who is a devotee of Lord Krsna in a submissive mood without speculation.
Many commentaries are made by unauthorised people for personal gain and fame and thus the whole jist of the Gita is lost.
Today’s artificial culture disregards revealed scriptures by calling them “Mythology”…..! God does not become myth by calling His revealed scriptures as “Mythology”. If the current world does not have right attitude of humility, service and devotion to comprehend the scriptures better call it “Mysteriology” instead of calling it “Mythology”….
Thank You Maharaj for giving the prerequisites to approach scriptures like BhagavadGita.
Bhagavad Gita is the most precious gem and to acquire this gem one has to pay the price of humility and submissiveness in service attitude.
Most remarkable Swamiji

Thanks so much for sharing the gems…. this open secret can be revealed by Krsna through our Gurudeva only when we are submissive, nonenvious and humble…. am truly working on it O Lord….
Very true. There are many scholars, who use Bhagvad Gita for debates and scholarly presentations. However, the knowledge is at superficial level. Unless one has the key to this treasure they can’t have deep dive in the ocean of knowledge. Radhanath Swami has given the keys to this treasure in above quote
I totally agree with you Swapnil. There are many scholars of all fields like, science, politics, economics, etc., who gave their own intellectual understanding of Bhagavad Gita. But if you see, none of the people who read their commentaries have changed their hearts and took the shelter of Krishna, the Supreme Lord. As HH Radhanath Swami nicely says above, only when one reads and hear with the 3 principles of humility, devotion and eagerness to serve the Supreme Lord, can he understands the mysteries of the most sacred scripture Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
Yes, very much true, unless and until we do not have “humility, devotion, and an eagerness to serve” we can not digest the wisdom given in Bhagvad Gita.
The requirements to understand Bhagavad Gita are well explained.
Very true! The Bhagavad Gita is available to everyone, but not all understand it or gain the confidential knowledge that is there. Only people who approach the spiritual master with humility and service attitude can digest the knowledge in the scriptures and that too by the mercy of the spiritual master and the Supreme Lord.
Well said Navin Poojary. All the great saints in the likes of HH Radhanath Swami followed this principle of submissive hearing and following their superiors to understand the greatest mystery song of all time, Bhagavad Gita. We can only understand by following in their footsteps with humble hearts.
Yes, we have to humbly approach Appropriate Authority and seek guidance submissively on Enlightening upon the Knowledge of Bhagavad Gita. On our own efforts we cannot understand this Wonderful scripture
Heard once- unless one has hunger for knowledge one cannot digest it as one cannot digest food if one doesnot have appetite.
beautiful quote
Wonderful quote from HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj.
The secret on how to approach Bhagavad Gita is clearly put in by HH Radhanath Swami. To achieve humility and devotion is not simple and only rare persons get there. This is clearly explained by the Lord Himself in BG 7.3, very very rare persons can know Him in truth.
