  1. This quote has potential to help people with broken hearts even if under major depression…….! I would love to print this and post on the display board of my office……..!

    1. Wonderful Idea to print and post it at a place where we can frequently see it. Thank you very much.

  2. Such a solace! such a soothing words from HH Radhanath Swami , Just like during night time father constantly shouting , warning , chastising at son who is doing all mischievous activities in the home to stop it. Son just does not listen , he is busy in his enjoyment kicking the ball ,shouting, yelling , jumping like a monkey, running around ,. But suddenly lights goes off and child shouts “papa” and runs towards his papa. But the amazing thing is before son realizes lights went off it is father who realizes it first and started inching towards his son.Let us not wait till the lights goes off in our life (some calamity). Let us understand the teachings / warnings given by Srila Prabhupada through his books , instructions given by Guru Maharajah through his lecturers . And turns towards our Father abandoning our pursuit of becoming happy. We will see Him waiting for us , whatever we might have done bad deeds or worst deeds , Krishna is waiting for us eternally patiently and most important as Maharajah says Lovingly.

    1. Amazing comments Vilasji! Only when a living entity realizes that beyond this pursuit of material things, there is a Supreme Father Who is waiting for all of us to meet once again, does he become eligible to join his journey back home back to Godhead. Thank you very much for reminding me about this.

    2. A very inspiring point. The example of child and father is so relevant for this analogy. True that we often are busy with our own shouting, yelling and jumping in this material world and mostly turn to God only when the light goes off. But the best is that we always stay fully connected and close by our loving father Lord Krishna, if that happens then even any so called calamities will also feel blissful to us.

  3. Such a hope giving quote from Radhanath Swami Maharaj. Srila Prabhupad says “All frustrations of life are just because of lack of goal”. Everyone wants to be happy, but he/she does not get it because creator of this material world has proclaimed it to be “Dukhalayam” which means a place filled with only sorrows. Now, Lord does not leave us stranded because He is our Supreme father Who has put us in this world because of our wishes to enjoy against His will (which ultimately is not possible). However, in no circumstance, He leaves us alone without loving and it’s His causeless mercy and love for us.

  4. definitely it is a different & true definition of love……if one living entity loves another unconditionally then only we can develop true love for the lord …….as lord krishna explains in geeta …advaishta sarva bhutaanam maitra karuna eva ca….. HH Radhanath swami explained this difficult thing so simply & sweetly…….obviously wonderfully….Thank you maharaj.

    1. Rightly said! Pure love does not look for any material qualification. Love also means surrender, which indicates that there is no holding back when you love someone from heart. In his best seller “The Journey Home”, Radhanath Swami Maharaj has met many people during his voyage to India who loved him without any selfishness.

  5. Ultimate genuine hope amidst deadly (so called) hopelessness of this material existence……..! Thank you so much Maharaj….!

  6. Strong quote on love by Maharaj how the Supreme Lord loves us unconditionally & eternally,s

  7. Yesterday’s breaking news: a four year old fell into an enclosure along with a gorilla. The gorilla was shot dead to rescue the child.

I was wondering what the child was going through, being under the control of the gorilla, and unsure what the gorilla’s intentions were.

Forgetting Krishna, when the living entity is under maya’s clutches, his situation is something similar to the child’s. Completely under control, but unsure what to expect.

But if only the living entity turns to God, he is reminded of the Lord’s complete protection and love.

    1. very nice realisation Gopinath Chandra Prabhu. We too are tightly under the grip of gorilla like maya, because of two things. One, we rejected the shelter of parent like Krishna and two allured by the temptations maya is offering us, we are constantly attracted to her without sufficiently afraid of it.

      1. I once saw a cartoon. Maya had half swallowed a devotee. That means the upper part of the devotee’s body was inside Maya’s mouth. The lower half was outside.

In the cartoon, standing next to Maya was the guru ordering Maya, “Spit that devotee out.”

And Maya is replying, “I Gant. He holding my gongue.” (I can’t. He is holding my tongue)

The cartoon accurately showed how it is we who are holding onto Maya.”

        1. So true. Actually it’s we only who are holding on to these illusory temptations. Sometimes, cartoons like this do a good job of reminding us about this harsh reality of life. Thank you for sharing.

          1. Yes. There is one more story, a true story from the Puranas. A king once asked Ashtavakra Muni why Maya is holding us so tight. Immediately Ashtavakra muni ran to the nearest pillar, held it tight, and began shouting, “leave me, leave me, leave me.”

          2. Thanks for sharing these wonderful stories. These are entertaining and also enlightening.

          3. Hahaha. They are entertaining as well.

Entertaining stories generally survive in your memories. Honestly, I would have never remembered Ashtavakra muni’s story that I heard a decade ago if it were not funny.

Important lesson for preachers: try and include more humour in outreach.

          4. So true. Humor opens up the heart and mind of the audience and then the speaker should inject the right conclusions at the right time.

          5. Gaur Gopal Prabhu does exactly that. Today he had hosted Facebook live on the occasion of international yoga day . Over 300 people attended. Huge success for a first time live event.

          6. Thanks Gopinath Chandra pr for sharing these amazing stories. I totally agree with the essence of the stories, its we who do not want to leave maya, not the other way round (at least very much true for me). On the solution front – how do you get rid of such deep rooted attachment to our material existence? More and better quality chanting and association with advanced devotees? or more hearing…pls enlighten.

    2. Very nice analogy prabhuji! We can understand nature of maya and how one who gets trapped under her clutches can come out of her control by taking shelter of the Lotus feet of the Lord.

  8. Such a hope giving statement which lifts our hearts to great joy to know that the Supreme Lord loves us unconditionally irrespective of who we are. Just waiting to read more from Radhanath Swami’s latest book “The Journey Within”.

  9. This is such a hope giving wisdom reminding us of our forgotten eternal relation with the supreme. Lord Krishna loves us unconditionally just like a loving father never forsakes his children even when the children sometimes ridiculous the father. Many thanks for publishing this wisdom from HH Radhanath Swami.

    1. The same thought came to my mind – it is so much hope giving statement! We have come so much away from the Lord, however Lord continues to love us unconditionally and wants us back with Him! Thank you HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj for reminding us of unlimited love that God has for us.

      1. Can’t wait to read the complete book – The Journey Within. If one quote from the book can be so powerful, I can’t imagine how the entire book will be like.

Someone has pre-ordered the book for me. Any idea when it will be dispatched?

        1. Same here, I’m also eagerly waiting for my copy. I heard that the orders are being processed and we should get the copies soon.

          1. 2 days ago I got a sms from amazon saying the book is dispatched. Will reach by 2nd June.

On Amazon there is this concept of vine customers. I wonder if you have heard about that. Let me explain.

Amazon, before a book is launched, sends out free copies to some of its trusted customers. These people read the book and give unbiased comments on the books page on amazon.

If you visit the Journey Within page, you will be amazed to see the overwhelming response of vine customers. This book will indeed will make the world a better place.

          2. Yes we should be receiving the book around 2nd or 3rd June. Oh I was not aware of vine customers. Thank you sharing. Will check it out on The Journey Within page. I hope a lot of people read this book and better their lives.

          3. Interesting details about the vine customers. I wonder how this name particular title “vine” might have come for these customers. Can it be because they are connected to Amazon like a vine connects all it’s parts?

But the concept seems to be good, it’s a kind of win win situation for both Amazon and all the customers.

No doubt The Journey Within book is already making a sensation in the readers circles. So many esteemed dignitaries have already started to appreciate the book. Certainly this book the change the world view for many.

          4. Vine customers reviews are just amazing. Eagerly waiting for my copy of The Journey Within.
Have you received your copy yet ?

          5. A lot to learn from vine customer reviews. They just don’t say “Fantastic book” or “Average book”. They explain why they liked it or didn’t like it. That gives a lot of credibility to the review.

I think we should keep this in mind when we write reviews for the book. If someone reads our review, intellectually he should be convinced why the book is worth buying.

          6. This is true even with comments. Not just “very nice quote”, but why this is a very nice quote. Answering the ‘why?’ makes such a lot of difference.

          7. Can’t wait to read the complete book. Thanks for sharing the overwhelming feedback on the book.
