An amazing quote from Radhanath Swami Maharaj! A pure devotee always sees every condition in his life to be related to devotional service. Also, he does not differentiate between material world and spiritual world because he is always in the mood to serve the Lord and His devotees. Because he is in Uttam Adhikari level, everyone he meets, he considers him/her to be a pure devotee.
very true Sumitji.
Wonderful details about a pure devotee. Very inspiring. Thank you.
True! The world is a reflection of our thoughts and actions. If we are good, the world seems a good happy place, but if we have evil thoughts, then the world is also seen as evil. So if we engage ourselves in devotional service, this world will be a reflection of the spiritual world. So it is up to us how we utilize our time – in material pursuits or spiritual progress.
Nice points! Srila Prabhupad used to say that we see things as per what colored specs we are wearing.
This is a perfect quote for us i.e. today’s tech savvy fools :). Though fools but we often consider ourselves very learned. However, it is only by the to the point teachings of elevated souls like HH Radhanath Swami that we can try to understand the higher aspects of reality.
This particular quote motivates us to live our lives with devotion so that we can have a first hand experience of spiritual world right here in this material world. I personally can say that I have had such few experiences while with in services or in Kirtans with devotees. We should aspire to hanker for these experiences more and more as much as possible.
Great to hear about your experiences! It really gives lot of hope!
true Mr. carl that’s why we should train our mind to see not through satwa, raja,or tamo guna but by the guide lines of pure devotees ….mahajana yene gata sa pantah….even in bhagavath gita lord krishna says …yah pashyati sa pashyati…..thanks Mr.carl for your explanation it gives good understanding to train our vision……thanks once again….
how we see everything in this world is according to our perspective, that is how we see reality. To understand what is the truth is far beyond anyone’s comprehension. Everyone simply wants to see this world according to our consciousness. Srila Prabhupada used to say that if you look through yellow colored glasses everything will look yellow. If you look through green colored glasses everything will look green. According to the covering over your vision, everything is tinged by that. So according to how our mind is tainted by three modes of material nature, satva guna, rajo guna, tamo guna, we will see everything in this world.
Very aptly said! And we can have perfect vision only when we train our mind to see that way and association of pure devotees like Radhanath Swami Maharaj purifies our vision.
