  1. so much trouble can be reduced if we simply control our desires, or rather if we dovetail our desires in serving the Lord and his Devotees.

  2. In 2nd chapter Lord Krishna told Arjuna to leave mean karma by devotional service. So the desires are the cause for all the disturbances in the mind. With the mercy of Maharaj I am remembering Gita. thank you Maharaj.

  3. In the 6th chapter of Srimad BhagavatGita Arjuna asked Krishna, the mind wavering and cannot be controlled so the yoga which you told is not possible and the mind is very strong also. Then Krishna told yes it is but with practice and detachment it can be controlled. Thanks to Maharaj.

  4. If we have control on our mind definately we can control our desires, as our desires are unlimited.Thank you maharaji.

  5. If we train the mind, then it becomes our friend. Very nice quote from Radhanath Swami.

  6. Controlling the mind is very difficult, but we can dovetail the mind in glorifying the Lord at all times. If we engage our mind in this manner, we will have controlled our desires.

  7. Desire is the name of the game in life. We get what we desire. When we control our desires, we can control our destiny.

  8. That’s a brilliant definition of discipline! Radhanath Swami rightly points out that instead of grubbing about what bad desires are already present in our mind, it’s better to control them by positive spiritual engagements.

  9. Mind is indeed the most difficult thing to control. It’s possible only if we regularly associate with God’s pure devotees such as Radhanath Swami who are selflessly engaged in devotional service for the upliftment of the human society at large.
